Privacy Policy — Retail BGNx

Retail BGNx ("the App") is a point-of-sale and inventory management application for retail businesses. The App is a companion to the Retail BGNx web platform and connects to servers operated by us. This policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.

Information we collect

• Account credentials. A username and password issued to you by your business are used to sign in. A login token is stored securely on your device (Android secure storage) so you stay signed in.
• Business data you enter. Products, stock, sales invoices, customer names and phone numbers, supplier details, payments and related records that you or your business create while using the App. This data belongs to your business and is stored on our servers to provide the service.
• Camera. The App uses the camera only to scan product barcodes while billing or looking up items. No photos or videos are recorded, stored, or transmitted.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not show advertisements and do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect your device contacts, location, photos, or files.

How data is used

Data is used solely to operate the service for your business: creating and viewing invoices, tracking stock, recording payments and udhar (credit), and generating business reports. Data is transmitted between the App and our servers over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Data storage and retention

Business data is stored on servers operated by us. Data is retained for as long as the business account is active. When a business account is closed, its data is deleted or returned on request.

Data deletion requests

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us using the details below. Requests are honoured within 30 days.

Children

The App is a business tool intended for use by adults and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a revised effective date.
